Ryan Rudd is a founding shareholder and officer of Rudd Cooper. He currently serves as the Firm’s President.

Mr. Rudd is a trusted advisor and advocate in numerous practice areas, including Real Estate & Construction, Family Law, Entertainment Law, and Business Law. He began his legal career with a prominent California law firm specializing in Probate, Medical Malpractice Defense, and Litigation. He later accepted a General Counsel position with a Utah-based company engaged in commercial construction and leasing properties to franchising entities in multi-states jurisdictions.

Mr. Rudd is well-respected as among the top litigators in the state particularly in large and complex matters. His real estate practice includes representing large construction companies, developers, residential and commercial clients. Mr. Rudd oversees the construction processes from contract to closing to alleviate the inevitable burdens and costs associated with complex construction, thereby eliminating costly surprises at closing. He provides the same services for lending institutions funding commercial properties.

Mr. Rudd is also skilled in family law settings, where he assists high net worth individuals or asset rich estates navigate valuation and distribution matters in divorce. He is a past chairman the firm’s family law section.

With his strong Entertainment Law experience, he successfully represents numerous clients in the industry including production companies, broadcasters, distribution companies, major label music artists, film producers, music producers, performing artists, and other entertainment related entities. He has produced and received writing credits on worldwide movie projects. His entertainment practice has taken him across the world and United States in representing clients. Mr. Rudd chairs the firm’s Entertainment section.

Mr. Rudd is also a skilled and trained mediator offering mediation services in multiple areas. He has been certified as an EMT and is a certified Title Insurance Agent.

In his free time Mr. Rudd enjoys spending time with his wife and five children and is an avid golfer and football enthusiast.
