Darrel J. Bostwick
With more than 30 years of experience, Darrel J. Bostwick is the premier attorney in the State of Utah in representing clients in the areas of construction litigation and general commercial litigation. His areas of expertise include contract negotiation and drafting, legal and regulatory and compliance, licensing and permitting, business consulting, labor and employment, wrongful termination and employment discrimination defense, insurance, and risk management. He has represented clients at the appellate level in federal courts, state courts, and federal and state regulatory agencies. In addition, Mr. Bostwick has served as in-house counsel for a global civil explosives company.
Mr. Bostwick earned his B.S. degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School. He has authored many works and has presented numerous seminars on behalf of the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, Utah Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Utah Chapter of the Associated General Contractors, the Utah Home Builders Association, the Utah Sheet Metal Contractors Association, Utah Land Title Association, and numerous other organizations.
Mr. Bostwick taught Construction Law as an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University. He is a member and past chair of the Construction Law Section of the Utah Bar and a member of the Corporate Counsel Section.
